Biofeed Standard Installation Requirements

The Biofeed standard food waste pulper is made almost entirely of stainless steel and can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Outdoor placement may require freeze protection on the water supply  and will also require a cover over the Biofeed unit (not supplied)

UTILITIES REQUIRED

All pre-installation requirements to be placed within 1m of equipment and outside of machine’s footprint.

1. 5 pin plug neutral middle 415V 20A 60Hz 3Ph from a dedicated circuit.
2. 4G reception, otherwise ethernet internet connection.
3. 16mm tap cold water line fit with a backflow prevention valve and a mixer with 32 degree temp min 380kpa.
4. Installation and connection to utilities to be done by licensed trades people.

5. A representative from Biofeed will start the unit and train personnel.
   Once site pre-requisite utilities have been confirmed, a Biofeed technician will install the machine and tank system, test the unit and train personnel.

SITE PREPARATION REQUIRED

Biofeed – Level solid ground 1.5m diameter.

Tank – The site must be firm, level, stable ground. It must be at least 600mm greater in diameter than the tank. The base must be adequately and uniformly supported over its whole area. Do not place the tank on beams with interval spaces. Ensure that the area is free from any sharp objects such as stones or roots. A concrete pad or 100mm deep compacted sand is recommended and must also be 600mm greater in diameter than the tank.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Exterior: Clean with soapy water and shine with stainless steel polish • interior: Water only. No soap, bleaches or cleaners.
